Microsoft announced that they'd be adding bitcoin support today, letting users fund their Microsoft accounts with the cryptocurrency. Now, you can make digital purchases from Windows, Windows Phone, Xbox Games, Xbox Music, and Xbox Video stores with bitcoin.

Square had their first $100 million dollar sales day, and CEO Jack Dorsey did a great interview with the New York Times.

Lending Club, an alternative lending startup, went public today on the New York Stock Exchange. The stock went up over 60% almost immediately.

Circle has a new CFO -- Paul Camp, who used to be JPMorgan's head of global transaction services. Looks like bitcoin isn't just a fad, as Barry Silbert pointed out on Twitter.
