Merry Christmas Eve! Here's what's been going on today.

Stripe to power online payments for Sony's "The Interview"... Sony announced that they would indeed screen "The Interview," the controversial film about North Korea starring Seth Rogan and James Franco. But today, they also added that the film would be available to rent on YouTube, Xbox, and seetheinterview.com. Stripe, the up-and-coming payments processing startup, will be assisting Sony with the payments for the film on seetheinterview.com. CEO Patrick Collison wrote on the company blog, "Were happy to be involved because we think its important that the internet remains an impartial platform."

EMV will have widespread effect on fraud... It's not just us who have beeng saying it, but now CIO Magazine writes that the US's shift to EMV will help credit card fraud. It reaffirms that as offline fraud has decreased in past EMV deployments, online fraud (card not present) has gone up.

WunWun CEO talks Amazon One-Hour Delivery Service... WunWun, a popular one-hour delivery service based in New York City, is facing a new competitor in Amazon (we tested out their one-hour delivery service recently). But CEO Lee Hnetinka isn't too worried -- he spoke to Re/Code about the growing on-demand economy.
