UNSW report: Trustev as a way to stop online fraud

Posted by Rurik Bradbury on May 4, 2015

We just received a link to a report written by the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Australia, which features Trustev quite heavily, as a way to stop fraud online using real-time analytics. A link is here.

The report was authored by Felix Ter Chian Tan of the UNSW Business School, and notes how "one corporate customer increased net revenue by 11% within four weeks of implementation."

"Instead of validating a credit card number, for example, Trustev focuses on validating the individual making the transaction, not just the payment method. Trustev's approach is to make sure that the person making the payment, or posting a comment, is who they say they are."
